Tintinara Regional Area Development Enterprise Inc. (TRADE) Gala Luncheon to welcome Dr. Temple Grandin to Tintinara.

Dr. Temple Grandin is a professor of animal science at Colorado State University, a consultant to the livestock industry on animal behavior and a spokesperson for autism. Dr. Grandin is also a prominent author and speaker.

Dr Temple Grandin will speak of her personal journey though animal science and autism.

Introducing Tintinara Regional Area Development Enterprises Inc. (TRADE) President Deanna Dunbar. Deanna has been a TRADE member for 11years and President for 8 of those 11 years. In Deanna’s time as president, TRADE has been a driving force behind many of the towns projects, including the Lake Indawarra upgrade in 2008 project management, www.tintinara.com.au, shop locally, tourism, Lake Indawarra Precinct Plan and many other development and grant funded projects around the Tintinara township. Deanna is a passionate community member and  is committed to ensuring that services are delivered at a local level particularly in education and health, she has held positions on many boards and committees including Murray Mallee Community Education Network (MMCEN), Coonalpyn Communication Network (The Hub), Keith Hospital Action Group, Murray Mallee Community Builders, &  Friends of CWA Tintinara (FOCWA). Ms Jenny Karavolos Managing Director of Autism SA, Jenny  has over 20 years experience in Transport, Energy and Defence, involving both the public and private sector. She is a highly experienced business in development, commercial, operations and technology manager who has led the negotiation and successful completion of various large multi-disciplined projects. Ms Karavolos’ extensive experience including growing new technology start-ups has also provided her with a strong appreciation and skills in respect of stakeholder relations, commercial, operations and process requirements. She knows what it takes to successfully grow an operation from concept stage to delivery from both a government and private operator perspective and understands the importance of partnering arrangements and stakeholder relations. Jenny is also experienced in resolving commercial practicalities with limited resources against hard deadlines. Throughout all of her roles she has always demonstrated a high level of commercial acumen and interpersonal skills.  Jenny also has a strong appreciation of the operation of Not for Profits – holding the roles of President, Autism SA and Defence Teaming Centre, Treasurer.
