Home visits are also attended to inside these hours, and therefore the Health Centre may be unattended for short periods.
The Health Centres are staffed by Registered Nurses. Regrettably they are unable to provide a 24 hour service. Occasionally it is possible (due to special circumstances) to provide a service outside normal opening hours (eg an ongoing wound dressing requested by a doctor).
All after hours medical emergencies should be referred to either the local Ambulance service and/or duty doctor at your nearest hospital.

Child and Youth Health. Friday am monthly (ph: 1300 733 606).
Asthma Clinic. 3rd Thursday monthly, doctor’s referral required (ph: 8575 2777 – Meningie Hospital).
Diabetes Clinic. As required, no referral (ph: 8757 2280).
Immunisation Clinic. As required (ph: 8757 2280).
Bowen Therapy. Wednesday am at Coonalpyn (ph: 0418 189 989, A/H 8755 1167).
Dietician. Tuesday am monthly (ph: 8757 2280).
Women’s Health. Wednesday as required at Coonalpyn (ph: 8571 1126).
Physiotherapist. Alt Wednesday, no referral (ph: 8755 1530).
Podiatrist. Wednesday am monthly, doctor’s referral required (ph: 8535 6800 – Murray Mallee Community Health Service).
Eye Bus. Wednesday monthly (ph: 8757 2280).
Remedial and Massage Therapy. Wednesday am at Coonalpyn – Shirley Fullwood (ph: 0428 393 543).
